About IPMS Space Coast
Located on the East Coast of Florida, we are Brevard County's chapter of the International Plastic Modeler's Society.. We are a club of 40+ members that want to meet you!

Hello Everyone - Well, August was a scorcher—both in weather and in how our club members turned up the heat at the show tables! Fresh off an impressive showing at IPMS Nationals, our chapter was out in full force at BermudaCon ’26 in Pompano Beach, hosted by Fort Lauderdale’s Flight 19 IPMS.
Seven members attended, and several brought home serious hardware. Rob Kempinski basically needed a wagon to haul away all of his medals and awards! Richard Acosta took home Gold, while Ben Pardini and Larry Fitch both earned Bronze.
For me, the standout moment of the show was seeing Ben’s 11-year-old son, Apollo, claim the Best of Class award in the Juniors category. Already taking home trophies at age eleven? Safe to say the future of plastic modeling is looking remarkably bright!
Speaking of the future, Modelpalooza is just around the corner! The show runs next month from October 9th through the 11th at the Holiday Inn Resort (3011 Maingate Lane in Kissimmee). It’s the exact same venue as previous years, just operating under a new name. Since this is the closest major contest to the Space Coast, I’d love to see a massive turnout from our chapter!

Blue Angel Modelfest 2026 is a free, one-day IPMS scale-model show and contest on Saturday, September 12, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Santa Rosa County Auditorium in Milton, Florida.
